When a kitchen is redesigned, the water lines rarely sit where the new sink and appliances need them. Here we altered the existing copper pipe work and extended it to the new proposed kitchen positions.
- Copper throughout. Durable, long-lasting pipe work run neatly through the wall frame.
- Secured to the framing. Pipes are clipped and supported so they stay put behind the finished wall.
- Outlets ready for fit-off. Capped brass fittings fixed to timber noggings, ready for tapware and appliances.
- Done before the walls close. Rough-in completed while the frame is still open.

Review the plans
We checked the proposed kitchen layout so the copper pipe work matches where the sink and appliances are going.
Alter the existing lines
Existing copper was modified to suit the new layout and clipped to the framing.
Extend to the new points
New copper runs were extended with joined fittings to the kitchen outlet positions, capped and ready for fit-off.
Test and certify
Work completed to code, then Form 4 submitted to the QBCC as required.
QBCC Form 4 submitted on completion
When the job was finished we submitted Form 4 to the QBCC, in accordance with Queensland regulatory requirements, so the work is on the record and done right.
